As the mother of two precious little girls  I am very aware of our culture's attack on the innocence of our daughters.  From the earliest ages, girls are confronted with the lure of Hollywood; dolls, books, movies and clothing all reflect the worldly mindset that would have our daughters believe that their goal as a female is to be sensual and vogue.  We, as Christians, of course have different values than the world- but how often do we find that the toys, entertainment, and even the clothing enjoyed by our daughters is teaching them something contrary to the Biblical standards of purity?

Ever since the birth of our oldest daughter, Amy in December 2003, I have been on a quest to preserve the innocence in girlhool- in the lives of my daughters, for certain.  And hopefully, by God's grace, in the lives of other young girls, as well.  It is my convinction that dolls should be innocent and fun- not sexy.  Movies and books should edify and reinforce Christian standards taught in the home- not make light of them.  Clothing should reflect the innocence of a young girl's heart- not prepare her to show her body off as soon as it is devloped.

I've dedicated this page to sharing with you my favorite finds over the past few years.  I hope you'll enjoy browsing through the links and articles... maybe you'll find a treasure or two to share with your daughters!
